Ode

This is an ode to keshwyn and meiczyslaw
(and boy was I tempted to post it on Twitter,
but sanity and the desire to not spam Facebook prevailed)
who between the two of them have prevented me
from throwing the brand-new Droid through the wall
because its UI is just plain not obvious in spots.

And for that I am very grateful
And for learning about the difference between
widgets and apps, I am very grateful
(because boy that was Not Obvious)
And for their undying patience with
one very stressed-out fuzzball of a Leanne,
I am really, really, eternally grateful

because I have been having a rough couple of weeks
and have not been coping well
and this was kinda a last straw before meltdown
and now it is not so much a last straw
and definitely no meltdown
but a "hmm, I think I can cope with this, but
I wish it weren't NOW"

and that makes me a lot happier than I was
about four hours ago.

and now I gotta unload groceries
and get back to work
and hopefully remain a less-stressed fuzzball
thanks to keshwyn and meiczyslaw
who are really awesome people
just so you all know.

Mostly, I'm overloaded with stuff for AX and keep having my stress button punched -- the BMAG stuff and the potential freelance gig with the banner company and all that, and I'm just not handling it as well as I'd like.

And it's June. (Three birthdays. Two anniversaries. Only one graduation this year, thank goodness. Father's Day. Aiie.)
