Did some Marozzo practice today, and at the practice, was talking with Don Avenel about rapier. Italian-style rapier is brutal on my knees, and also on Mark's. We were thinking we were going to have to pass on it until we get well, but he suggested that we consider Spanish-style rapier.

The downside is that there's only one person in Calafia studying Spanish-style. The upside? Aside from the stance, it looks a HECK of a lot like Japanese-style swordfighting. Cool.
