I refuse to be daunted by this kitchen.

I have, in the past four hours, made the following:
* ham salad from scratch, no cans (for dinner sandwiches)
* sauteed zucchini and onions (also for dinner)
* cold tomato-basil soup
* chicken-apple meat tarts for breakfasts this week (tart dough from an empanada recipe, filling of my own invention -- chicken apple sausage, raisins, onions, poudre douce, lemon zest, red wine)
* and a batch of focaccia that is rising in the fridge for tomorrow's baking.
And all the dishes except the muffin pan are done.
Take THAT, stove o' patheticness.
