... our garb is not yet quite done (still need hitatare to go over the two kosode), but it was done enough that we went and shot arrows in it this morning.
Japanese garb is AWESOME.
Comfortable, functional, has multiple pockets, has sleeves that are easy to tie up once you know how, and is great for physical activity.
AWESOME.
Also, I feel a lot less awkward wandering around in public in Japanese garb than I ever did in any other garb.
Oh yeah, and did I mention that I get to make another set at some point in SILK?

Seriously, why didn't I even consider doing a Japanese persona while I was in college? (Rhetorical question. Because I didn't know anything about myself in college, really ... )
