Grumpy cranky mood is one of those things that Marozzo practice can, and does, fix.
I am looking forward to having proper gear so as to do rapier and more unarmored than just the assault practice, but either way, is nice to hang with SCAdians, is nice to play with swords, is nice to work out.
Now if I could just have my pretty house with my big backyard, so I can do Marozzo there too, instead of just once a week down at Allied Gardens, that would also be nice. I can't practice at the apartment -- it's not wide enough inside (although it is tall enough), and I'm not permitted to carry around weapons outside.
