Roots in the sewer line. We get a 6' square chunk taken out of the driveway. On the bright side, it doesn't extend to the property line and is only in one spot.

At least it was only under the driveway, though I'm really sorry it'll require excavating. At the very least, it sounds like you are heading into the "wearing out" portion of this particular house, so it's a good time for you to leave.
Indeed. We are narrowly avoiding having to replace the roof. Time to go. (: The list of things I want (as opposed to need) in the new house is ridiculous. I need to pare down. (:
