Yay and ironic yay
Mar. 18th, 2012 12:31 amComputer is acquired and is going through the various and sundry settings-up that new computers are wont to do. I managed to get everything important off the Time Capsule, which is good. I didn't lose any work.
And I paid for it with the money I made last year. *I* paid for it. Yay! (Now I have a super-huge incentive to get more work done for the BMAG guys ...)
The now-tricky part is that I need to deactivate all my Adobe Creative Suite licenses on my old computer, which is grinding like a crazed thing. Yay. ): And I need to figure out Lion, which is a Strange Beast, though at least the migrated account looks "normal". Not sure where that particular setting is. Why do they change the OS interface? WHY? Why did they change how my mail works? These things, they baffle and frustrate me.
But hey ... It'll work out. I think. (:
