All right!
We are officially out of our house; the movers came today and schlepped all the furniture hither, thither, and yon. The apartment is pretty well squared away, and the only thing I wish it had was a slightly better under-the-sink cabinet in the kitchen, and a broom closet. We even have our hockey gear here, crammed into the little closet on the balcony.
We have a few boxes to schlep from here to the storage unit -- boxes that the computers were packed in. (Thank goodness, because we have no room for anything else.)
We may, just may, be going to Potrero War tomorrow after all. (: (: (:

It makes perfect sense not to bring the bows this year. You can wander around without worrying about them being hot in the car, or having to store them somewhere. I love having mine with me just because it's so damn cool, but it's also so damn *awkward* ...
One thing I do look forward to with the Mongolian bow is that it will be *shorter*. :)
Congrats again on moving out. Rawr!

! ... dang, I'm going to need to learn to make bowstrings, 'cause I'm *sure* I'll need to for that.
Thank you for the congrats! <3
Hope to have pix of Potrero too, we'll see. (: Much to do! *happy dance*
Toby says he's seen a couple other people there in Japanese garb, and apparently we'd win a Japanese garb contest hands-down. I'm frightened. This is seriously baseline Japanese garb! You've seen it! I haven't even done fabric painting or anything! O_O Eep. (:
